It chafes my ass that I can provide a free theme, endless hours of help and troubleshooting for free for others setting up a Tumblr, and people still think it’s A-OK to go ahead and take 100% of my source code without my permission.
Not the first, and won’t be the last, but seriously guys…. at least be good enough to change some shit around to look like less of a complete rip off. I do spend some amount of time doing my own work, and it’d be nice if it wasn’t proliferated across the web like some sort of HTML STD.
(If you really need help, I will most likely give it to you when asked. I’ll even help you steal from me, as long as we change enough stuff to be distinguishable from my personal theme. But I do this for a living, and when someone just takes something without asking, it’s irritating and demeaning, and it devalues my work.)
