1. Widexplorer takes an interesting tack on Web searches, presenting results from many popular search engines in a wide, scrolling format. (The above screenshot doesn’t do it justice; you have to try it yourself.) 
For example, a search for “iPhone” returns a Google pane, a Cuil pane to the right of that, then Wikipedia, Yahoo Answers, About.com, and so on. You scroll to the right to see the other panes, then click on any desired search result like you normally would. 
I just tried it, and it’s freaking fantastic.
